Since transitioning from tech to film in 2000, Alan Pao has established himself as a prolific filmmaker with more than 200 feature film and television credits as a producer, director, writer, editor, VFX artist, and post supervisor. His notable credits include It Follows, Under the Silver Lake, The November Man, and the upcoming Family Movie and The Dreadful. In 2005, Pao founded Tunnel, where he pioneered a proprietary digital intermediate workflow that helped transform the company into a leading full-service production and post-production studio. Today, he oversees operations spanning film financing, visual effects, color correction, post-production sound, and supply chain automation solutions for major studios. In 2024, he founded New Hollywood and Scriptini, AI-powered filmmaking platforms designed to democratize the creative process and empower both emerging and established filmmakers. She began her career in performance and writing as a founding member of the acclaimed Asian Canadian sketch comedy troupe Assaulted Fish. Since then, she has expanded her creative practice into filmmaking, co-writing and co-directing several short films with her sister, Andrea Bang. As an actor, her screen credits include Resident Alien (Syfy), Y: The Last Man (FX), and The Interview (Sony).

Diego is a Colombian-Canadian Creative Producer and Media Strategist based in Montréal with over 20 years of experience as a producer, director, and concept developer on social impact documentaries, fiction and digital media. He has a BFA in Cinema (Film Production) and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Technologies and Design Art Practice from Concordia University. Driven by narrative, ethics and collaboration, his work often focuses on issues of marginalization, the environment and North-South relations. Through his company Cuiba Media, he specialized in the co-development of cross-media projects with a strong international appeal. He also sits on the board of the Alter-cine Foundation which provides financial support to documentary filmmakers in the global South.

Ghinwa Yassine is an anti-disciplinary artist, art educator, and cultural producer based on the land of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh people, so-called Vancouver. She was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, worked in Dubai and London, studied in the Netherlands, and moved to Vancouver in 2017. Habib is head of Virtual Production at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts and the George Méliès Endowed Chair in Visual Effects.
