Jasmeet Raina is a writer, director, actor, comedian, and producer based in Toronto, Canada. After nearly a decade of creating sketch and character-driven comedy on YouTube, where he amassed millions of views, Jasmeet built a loyal audience through stories inspired by the idiosyncrasies of the South Asian community and his upbringing as a first-generation South Asian Canadian. A graduate of the Sundance Institute | YouTube Creator's Intensive (2016), he has long been passionate about expanding beyond digital content to tell grounded, character-driven stories that place underrepresented voices at the center of their narratives.
In 2024, Jasmeet made his television creator debut with the critically acclaimed comedy series Late Bloomer, serving as creator, co-showrunner, writer, director, executive producer, and lead actor. He received the 2025 Canadian Screen Award for Best Comedy Script for the pilot episode, Nudes.
