Samantha Kaine is a Jamaican-Canadian, award-winning film and television producer with two decades of experience advancing racial equity in Canada’s cultural sector. She is the Founder and CEO of IMPACT, a national non-profit that addresses systemic barriers facing Black producers through leadership development, business training, market access, and responsible AI integration. Samantha has led advocacy and policy initiatives with the Canadian Human Rights Commission, Canada Media Fund, Telefilm Canada, and the Indigenous Screen Office. She serves on the boards of the Coalition for the Diversity of Cultural Expressions and the English Language Arts Network and holds executive credentials in AI and analytics from York University’s Schulich School of Business and a Mini-MBA from McGill University.
