Setareh Samandari is an award-winning writer, director, producer, VFX Supervisor, and activist, and the Founder and Head of Production of Interdimensional VFX. A member of the Visual Effects Society (VES), she holds a PhD in Film and Philosophy, an MA in Political Science, and specialized training from the Gnomon School of Visual Effects. Her work explores the intersection of visual effects, AI, storytelling, and social impact. She is the author of Disruption of the Circle in Film, Language, and Other Cocoons and has contributed to projects including Forbidden University, Dark Asset, The Apple Tree, Terrarium, and Limit Exceeded (2026). Her films and visual work frequently examine themes of freedom, human rights, and innovation.
